Mrs. Lou Anne Northcutt, age 56, of McKinney, Texas passed away September 17, 2005, in McKinney. She was born March 15, 1949, in Amarillo, Texas to Robert and Mildred (Hunnicutt) Mickey. On July 31, 1971, she married Mike Northcutt in Amarillo. Mrs. Northcutt began teaching in Tulia and Plainview schools from 1972-1978. While teaching in Plainview she became the Principal of Highland Elementary School. She later became Director of Educational Services in Duncanville. As an educator she earned many grants and awards, including the 1997 Texas Principal of the Year award. She was also a past president of the Region 17 Educational Service Center. Mrs. Northcutt attended McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. She is survived by her husband, Mike Northcutt of McKinney; sons, Jay Allyn Northcutt and wife, Holly also of McKinney and Matt Colin Northcutt and wife, Laura of Duncanville; parents, Robert and Mildred Mickey of Canyon, Texas; sisters, Kelly J. Mickey of Duncanville and Robin M. Ferro of Amarillo, Texas; and grandchild, Addison Faith Northcutt of McKinney. Her grandparents L.F. and Ethel Hunnicutt preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at McKinney Fellowship Bible Church with Rev. Mike Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G.
