Lory Walker McDaniel, age 53, of Murphy, Texas, passed away June 24, 2014, in her home. Lory was born December 16, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, to Ivan Eldon and Hilda Lucy (Struckmeyer) Walker. She married William McDaniel on January 25, 1980, in Mesquite, Texas. Lory had worked as a manager at Eclipse Electronics in Richardson, Texas since 1996. She was a good mother, a hard worker, loved the water, and enjoyed crafts.
She is survived by her husband, William McDaniel of Murphy, Texas; daughters, Shawnda McAlister and husband, Scott of McKinney, Texas and Britni McDaniel of Murphy, Texas; granddaughter, Hannah McAlister; and brother, Robin Walker of West Tawakoni, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
