Loree Manahan, age 86, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 17, 2013, in McKinney. Loree was born February 25, 1927, in Nahunta, Georgia, to Walter R. and Alma (Herrin) Batten. She married Fred R. Manahan on November 25, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Mitchell and husband, Philip of McKinney, Texas; grandsons, Joshua Mitchell and wife, Leslie and Jonathan Mitchell, both of McKinney, Texas; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Mitchell and Henry Mitchell, both of McKinney; brother, Walter M. Batten “Bo” of Nahunta, Georgia; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fred Manahan.
