Lora Dee Fritz, age 56, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 16th, 2014, in Dallas, Texas. Lora was born October 2, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Albert Eugene Caputo Senior and Jenny (Dingemonse) Caputo. She married Darrel Fritz on January 6, 1988, in Irving, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Darrel Fritz of McKinney, Texas; children, Chris Caputo and wife, Monica of Irving, Texas, Jenifer Crenshaw of McKinney, Texas, and James Crenshaw and wife, Michelle of Phoenix, Arizona; grandsons, Dorian Caputo of Irving, Texas, Michael Crenshaw and Alex Crenshaw, both of Phoenix, Arizona; mother, Jenny Johnson of Reno, Nevada; sisters, Nancy Crail and Paula Reid, both of Reno; brother, Albert Caputo, also of Reno; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Lora was a dear and generous friend, known to many as “Cookie Grandma” as she always had fresh baked cookies for guests and neighborhood children. An imaginative spirit and talented artist, her creations and gifts brought delight to many. Lora could always be relied upon by family and friends to make simple events into cherished memories. There is nothing she would not do for a friend in need and her life’s extinguishment will be sorely felt by any person blessed to have known her beautiful heart.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
