Funeral services for Lonnie Lucas Butler, 91 year old Trenton resident, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 26th at the First United Methodist Church of Trenton. Rev. Sharon O’Connor and Rev. Denny Gorena will officiate. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery at Trenton. Family visitation will be Tuesday October 25th from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mr. Butler was born April 16, 1920 at Trenton. His parents were James Ransom and Estelle Elizabeth Lucas Butler. He was a farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Trenton. He married Imogene Alexander August 27, 1937 at Durant, Oklahoma. He passed away Monday October 24th at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ at Sherman. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: James R. (Bobby) and Peggy Butler of Boerne; his daughter and son-in-law: Betty Jean and Clifton Evans of Leonard; his grand-daughter and husband: Vicki and Andy McAngus of Leonard; his grand-daughters: Brooke Butler of Nigeria and Brittany Butler of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandson and wife: Kyle and Jill Butler of Leonard; his great-grandsons: Zachary and Kail Krider of Lewisville; his great-granddaughters: Tiffany Butler of Lubbock and Lindsey Butler of Tyler. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers: O.J. Butler, J.D. Butler, J.M. Butler and Burris Butler; his sister: Louse Butler; his grandson: David Lynn Evans and his granddaughter: Daphne Butler. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard is in charge of arrangements.
