Mrs. Lola Pearl Haak Moore, age 94, of Farmersville, Texas passed away at her home on April 6, 2010. She was born December 14, 1915, in Ben Wheeler, Texas to Thomas Ashburn and Lunnie Elnora (Carter) Cole. On February 9, 1937, she married Bernard A. Haak in Durant, Oklahoma. Lola was a quality control inspector for Texas Instruments. She was of the Methodist faith. Lola is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Kaye Ketner and husband, Troy of Farmersville; granddaughters, Tamara Herrick and husband, Richard of Farmersville, Julie Brooks and husband, Cameron of Josephine, Texas, Janice Romans and husband, Richard of Denison, Texas, and Katherine Freeman and husband, Michael of Denison; grandson, Troy Ketner, Jr. of Farmersville; 6 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Albert Haak and second husband, William M. Moore; son, Kenneth B. Haak; sisters, Gladys Cole, Florence Cole, Estelle Abbott, Agnes Giddings, Oneta Dickman, and Blanche McGlathery; and brother, Gillon M. Cole. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 9, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor David Meeks officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
