Lois Elizabeth “Nana” Reeves, age 96, of Princeton, Texas, passed away January 22, 2007 in McKinney, Texas. She was born September 26, 1910 in the Altoga area of Collin County to John Dean Wilcox and Mary Ashley Wilcox. On October 3, 1928, she married Eldon Homer Reeves at the courthouse in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of Culleoka Baptist Church, Princeton, Texas and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Homer Reeves; brothers, Henry Wilcox, Girley Wilcox, and George Wilcox; sisters, Ollie Aycock and Dennie Mae Holloway. She is survived by two sons; Dr. Homer Reeves and wife, Sue, of Fairview, Texas, and Albert Reeves and wife, Betty, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; a brother, J. D. Wilcox and wife, Martha of Humble, Texas; five grandchildren, Susan Bryant of Lewisville, Jeff Reeves of Ft. Worth, Betty Ann Reeves of Sulphur Springs, Margaret Yochum of Melissa, and Albert Reeves, Jr. of Sulphur Springs; eight great-grandchildren, including Glynn Mosier, Jr. and wife, Julie of Abilene and Christopher Mosier of Melissa; six great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home with Rev. Don Brown presiding. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home from 9:00-10:00 a.m., prior to the service to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
