Lois Allsbrooks Prather, age 92, of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 29, 2014. She was born January 31, 1922, in Farmersville, Texas, to George Bert and Drucilla Lillie (Harless) Allsbrooks. In 1942, Lois married Floyd Curry in Lindale, Texas.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Rozanna Ray and husband Mark of Garland, Texas; great-grandchildren, Houston D. Pullen, Jr. and Kimberly Pullen both of Garland, Texas; great-great-grandson, Dillon Husereau; sister, Mary Gibson and husband Armon of McKinney, Texas; several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband; children, William Thomas Curry and Mary E. Boman; four brothers; and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on July 31, 2014 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
