IN LOVING MEMORY

Lloyd Lusk, Jr.

Aug 17 1958 - Oct 02 2014

Lloyd Lusk Jr., was born on August 17, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lloyd Lusk and Elnora Scott. On October 2, 2014 at the age of 56, he went home to sing with the Heavenly Choir of Angels. He had been a resident of The Colony, Texas for 22 years and attended Genesis Metro Church in Frisco, Texas.

Lloyd received his High School Diploma and obtained a degree from Rose State College in Oklahoma. He had many talents but for the past few years he had been employed as a Maintenance Technician for the NTTA. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, exercising, shooting hoops, watching sports, singing, building things and working with his hands. Lloyd loved the Lord and this was easy to see by his continual willingness to help and be a blessing to others.

His warm presence, caring heart, inviting laughter and awesome smile will be greatly missed by all of those who had the incredible pleasure of knowing him. Left to remember and cherish his life and love are his children, Cynthia “Cyndi” Tarver of Little Elm, Texas, Lloren “Sadie” Lusk of The Colony, Texas, Lloyd “Joey” Lusk of The Colony, Texas; grandsons, Aiden Brooks and Caleb Flores, brother, Renardo Scott of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his children’s mother and friend, Donna Jefferson of The Colony, Texas, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Lusk and Elnora Scott, brother, Larry Scott, and grandparents.

The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Genesis Metro Church, 9750 John W. Elliott Drive in Frisco with Pastor Tim Bourne officiating.
