Lisa Dawn Adkins, of Murphy, Texas, lost her battle with breast cancer on July 11, 2013 at the age of 53. She was born December 21, 1959, in Collin County, Texas, to Gerald and Wanda (Miller) Eubanks. Lisa loved spending time with her family and friends; she had a very giving heart and was always willing to help.
She is survived by her sisters, Dianna McCall (Mike Flack) of Murphy, Texas, Kay Lakey (Bob) of Euless, Texas and Jeania Benz (Ken) of Desoto, Texas; brother, Ken Eubanks (Brandy) of Burleson, Texas; son, Johnnie Eubanks of Quitman, Texas; daughter, Ashley Ervin of Red Oak, Texas; mother, Wanda Boubel (Elton) of Quitman, Texas; father, Gerald Gaulden of Kerrville, Texas; step-father, Gerald Eubanks of Lewisville, Texas; granddaughter, Summer Eubanks of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandson, Zachery Eubanks of Quitman, Texas; many other loving nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Sunday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
