Linda Souza Richards, age 79, of McKinney, Texas, passed away April 12, 2011. She was born on September 7, 1931, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Joseph Paul and Jane (Cedeno) Souza. On February 17, 1952, Linda married her husband Sidney G. Richards in Patuxent, Maryland. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her children, David Richards and wife Tricia of Stockton, California, Debra Garrison and her husband Douglas of McKinney, Texas, Lori Richards of Stockton, California, and Melinda Smith and her husband Robert of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Garrison, Teresa Richards, Elizabeth Garrison Trauer, Deanne Machado, Angela Richards, Emily Garrison, Michael Machado, Maggie Smith, and Jack Smith; great-grandchildren, Lawson and Landon Trauer; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney G. Richards and her parents. A memorial mass will be scheduled in McKinney at later date.
