Linda Lee Moss, age 67 of Richardson, Texas, passed away on July 14, 2011. She was born March 22, 1944, in Greenville, Texas to William Lee and Billie Jo (Aday) Hassell. Linda worked in the insurance industry for over forty years; and worked for Maxon Mahoney & Turner which was acquired by BBVA Compass. Linda was a member of Providence Community Church in Plano, Texas. Linda was adored, and referred to by many as “Grammie”. She is survived by her children, Lance Moss and wife Wendie of Tomball, Texas, Lenny Moss and wife Jennifer of Rocklin, California, and Lezlie Moore and husband Mark of Murphy, Texas; grandchildren, Lance Lee Moss and Whitney Moss of Tomball, Texas, Emerson Moss and Ella Moss of Rocklin, California, Logan Moore, Cole Moore, and Carson Moore of Murphy, Texas; brother, Larry Hassell of Kemp, Texas; sister, Sherry Craig of Greenville, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011, at 12:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas with Rev. Brad Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
