Linda Lynette Klemm, age 68. A devoted wife, sister, friend, and our loving mother, Linda passed away peacefully on March 1, 2011 at her place of residence in McKinney, Texas. She spent her last days and hours surrounded by numerous family and friends that cherished her impact on their lives. Linda was born in Farmersville, Texas on September 27, 1942 to Willie Lee and Nellie Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 29 years Bobby Butler, and sister Wanda Jean Akin. Linda is survived by her husband of 14 years Ronald Klemm of McKinney. Surviving children are Patsy Bartlett and husband Ronnie Adams of Princeton, Darin Butler of Stephenville, and Robert and wife Kathy Butler of Lewisville. Surviving siblings include Thresia and husband Billy Whitsell of Blue Ridge, Jerry and husband Dwane Abell of Farmersville, Charles and wife Jean Gilbert of Denison, William and wife Veleta Gilbert of McKinney, Ervin and wife Phyllis Gilbert of Blue Ridge, and Tommy and wife Sandy Gilbert of Farmersville. Linda’s legacy includes grandchildren Chrystal Jackson, Justin Butler, Brandon Bartlett, Joshua Butler, Lyndsay Butler, Stephanee Butler and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will be missed by many people but Linda will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends. The family would like to extend its gratitude to Hospice Compassus for their service in our time of need. We are especially grateful for the care provided to Linda by nurses Cathy Beaverson, Wendy Higgins, Folashade Badmus, Donna Brown, and Marilyn Clark. Visitation will be March 3rd, 6-8 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. Graveside service will be held March 4th at 10 AM at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
