Lillie Mildred Smith, age 89, of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 13, 2008 in McKinney. She was born November 16, 1918, in Collin County, Texas, the daughter of Gabe and Lillie (Patton) Crowder. On August 21, 1937, she married Hurshel E. Smith in McKinney. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and of the Nazarene faith. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Kindle and her husband Hubert of McKinney; son, Ronnie E. Smith and his wife Charlene of New Hope; grandchildren, Keith Biggs, Ronald Smith and his wife, Jayne and Stacy Collinsworth and her husband Josh; step-grandchildren, Charles and Raymond Parker; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Lewis of Amarillo; and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; brothers, Frank and Lewie Crowder; sisters, Cordia B. and Jennie Hancock; and step-grandchild, Skeeter Parker Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation at the funeral home on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 PM.
