Lillian Loretta Fretwell of Garland, Texas, passed away July 22, 2010, in Garland. Lillian was born in Anna, Texas, to Ralph Lee and Buena (Bryan) Lair. She married Charles Bedford Fretwell on January 17, 1959 in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1998. Lillian grew up in Anna where she graduated from Anna High School. She worked for numerous savings and loans as a supervisor of the tax department. Lillian had many hobbies and interests. She was an active member of South Garland Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Gallup and husband, Jere of Miami, Florida; granddaughter, Sally Hostetter and husband, Taylor of Lawrenceville Georgia; great-grandchildren, Janie Jelena Hostetter, Alex Hostetter, and Michael Hostetter; niece, Patti Beadles and husband, Rick of Garland, Texas; great-niece, Nicole McMenamy and husband, Jon; great-nephews, Brad Norris and Blake Beadles; great-great- nephew, Caleb McMenamy; and several other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Peggy Perkins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2010, at South Garland Baptist Church, 1330 E. Centerville Rd., Garland, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
