Lesia Ann Hicks, age 45, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 7, 2010, in McKinney. Lesia was born July 20, 1964, in Denison, Texas, to Brady and Freida (Sorrels) Hicks. She grew up in McKinney and attended McKinney schools. Lesia was a self-employed caretaker. She enjoyed listening to music, loved reading and working crossword puzzles. Lesia was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her parents, Brady and Freida Hicks of McKinney, Texas: children, Christy Hicks, Bonnie Henderson, Joshua Hicks, and Katie Hicks; brother, Dennis Hicks of New Hope, Texas; sister, Betsy Navarro of McKinney, Texas; longtime boyfriend, Joe Castillo; and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2010, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas with Chaplain Rickey Hargraves officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
