Lesa Ann Samuells, age 49, of Anna, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2014 in Anna, Texas. She was born on March 8, 1964 in Deridder, Lousiana to Carl and Wendy Fontenot. Lesa married Mark Samuells on June 14, 1990 in McKinney, Texas. She loved reading, particularly magazines and enjoyed watching her favorite television shows. Lesa also loved being with her dogs, Annie and Mojo.
She is survived by her loving husband Mark Samuells of Anna, Texas; mother, Wendy Harris of McKinney, Texas; brother, Kevin Fontenot and wife Brandy of McKinney, Texas; sister, Alisha Hicks and husband Jon of California; nephews, William Fontenot of McKinney, Texas, Ashton Hicks of California; Cody Samuells of Seattle, Washington, and Joey Durbin and wife Kristen of Louisiana; niece, Julie Carvalho and husband Jacob of Clovis, New Mexico; mother-in-law, Marie Samuells of McKinney, Texas; brothers-in-law, John Samuells of McKinney, Texas, Michael Samuells and wife Denise of Whitewright, Texas, Lawrence Samuells of McKinney, Texas, and Kevin Samuells of McKinney, Texas; sister-in-law, Kathleen Durbin and husband Bud of Farmersville, Texas.
Lesa was preceded in death by her grandmother Helen Whitaker.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
