Leo James Juneau, Jr., MD, age 68, of Plano, Texas passed away July 2, 2011. He was born June 26, 1943 in Port Arthur, Texas to Leo James Juneau and Esther Mae (DeJean) Juneau. Dr. Juneau attended Medical School at the University of Texas Galveston where he graduated in 1968. He completed his internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1970-1972 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Dr. Juneau was a practicing physician for thirty-seven years at Plano Medical Associates, before his retirement in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Carol Juneau of Plano, Texas; daughters, Erica Hurst and husband, Chad of Plano, Texas, Natalie Powell and husband, Kenneth of The Colony, Texas; grandchildren, Courtney, Carson and Alyssa; sister, Ruth Wall and husband, Bert of Richardson, Texas; brother, Eugene Juneau and wife, Alicia of Richmond, Texas and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Esther Juneau. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
