Lee Johnson, age 87, of Plano, Texas passed away September 5, 2008. She was born August 30, 1921 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Walter Carl and Allie Cly (Francis) Cheatham. On June 23, 1945 she married Howard Richard Johnson, Jr. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a member of the McDermott Road Church of Christ in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her children, Sue Holcomb of Plano, Texas, Rick Johnson and wife, De of Grey Forest, Texas and Pat Hendry and husband, John of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Holcomb, Steve Holcomb, Richard Johnson, II, Julia Russell, Zachary Johnson, Holly Trammell, Amy Blueitt, Jennifer Mann and Matt Hendry; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother Carl Cheatham, Jr. and wife, Joyce of Abilene, Texas; sisters, Louise Vaughan of Knoxville, Tennessee, Alice Sheppard of Austin, Texas and Ann Hulett of Abilene, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Richard Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2008 at McDermott Road Church of Christ with Minister Tim Pyles officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2008 at Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas.
