Lee Felts, age 95, of Dallas, Texas, passed away October 15, 2015. Lee was born April 14, 1920, in Arlington, Kentucky, to Lemiel Odus and Bessie (Carter) Felts. He proudly served in the United States Army during World II. Lee married Yvonne Osborne in Mexia, Texas. He worked for and retired from Anaconda Wire and Cable. Lee later worked for Elliot’s Hardware in Dallas until the age of 90. He was a member of the Dallas Model A Car Club. Lee was also a member of Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Felts and wife, Joni of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Tambi Felts of Dallas, Texas; and granddaughter, Lauren Felts of Anna, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, grandson, Adam Felts, three brothers, and one sister.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Wilshire Baptist Church Chapel in Dallas, Texas. Interment with United States Army honor guard will follow at 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday, October 19, 2015 to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
