Lauretia Trammell, age 85, of Richardson, translated to glory June 16, 2010. She was born January 26, 1925, in Farmersville, to Richard Andrew and Alta A. (Clark) Smith. Lauretia married W.L. “Dub” Trammell on January 3, 1942, in Emory, Texas. She worked at Texas Instruments for over 25 years. Lauretia was a member of Richardson East Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Smith and husband Mike of McKinney, Louise Getz and husband Phil of Hurst, Cathey Westbrook and husband Jimmy of Frankston, Texas; son, William Lewis “Rusty” Trammell of Robinson, Texas; grandchildren, Sherri Jenkins, Brad Getz, Kevin Westbrook, Coby Pewitt, Cindy Killgo, Keith Westbrook, Heather Trammell, Christi Trammell, Trevor Trammell, and Kaitlyn Trammell; great-grandchildren, Randall, Keaton, Jake, Cody, and Allissa; brothers, Bobby Smith of Anna and John Smith of Wills Point. Lauretia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Richard Smith. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas, with Pastor Wayne Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m.
