Larry James Schultz of Plano, Texas passed away on January 14, 2016 at the age of 78. He was born on April 8, 1937 to Earl Stephen Schultz, Sr. and Mable Elizabeth Mears Schultz in Corning, Missouri. Larry married Cathryn Marie Huston on December 23, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. He and his beloved Cathy just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Larry spent 38 years working at Aviall. He began as an aspiring 19 year old who eventually worked his way up to Senior Vice President. Throughout his career, Larry was known for his work ethic and care for his fellow co-workers. The Schultz family is the owner of Petals, A Florist which was Larry’s pride and joy. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and enjoying all their activities.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Cathy Schultz of Plano, Texas; daughters, Jodi Nelson and her husband Corey of Plano, Texas, Juli Allison and her husband Michael of Frisco, Texas; son, Jason Schultz and his wife Donna of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Carley Nelson, Jaylee Schultz, Lydia and Aidan LoSasso; brother, Earl Stephen Schultz, Jr. and his wife Marta; sister-in-law, June Schultz; and many other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, V.O. Schultz and Leroy Schultz.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas.
