Larry Elmer Manley

Larry Elmer Manley, age 70, of Midland, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2013, in Plano, Texas. He was born on November 25, 1942, in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Norma Jean and F.E. "Sonny" Manley. Larry married Sandra Lynn Carter in Dallas, Texas, on August 31, 1963. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1967 where he was an active member of the Saddle Tramps and a die-hard Red Raider fan. Larry and his family moved from Houston to Midland, Texas in 1980 and they enjoyed many years of cheering for and following the Lee Rebel football team.

Larry is survived by two daughters, Lisa Bartlett and her husband, Darren, of Duluth, Minnesota and Karen Bentley and her husband, Tim, of Frisco, Texas; three granddaughters, Emily Bartlett, Hailey Bentley and Victoria Bentley; sister, Glenda Sue Brandt and her husband, Mark, of Corpus Christi, Texas; nephew Michael Brandt and his wife, Jessica, of Cordova, Alaska and niece Stephanie Parcel and her husband, Alan, of Highland Village, Texas.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and his parents Norma Jean and Sonny Manley.

A private inurnment will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco.
