Larry Don Langford was born May 25, 1943 at Van Alstyne, Texas to J. W. (Pete) Langford and Delpha Lucille Hill Langford. He married Frances Valentine on March 11, 2002 at Waskom, Texas. He died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his residence in Randolph, Texas at the age of 68. Larry was a graduate of Trenton High School. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Ector Lodge. He is a two time Past Master and a Scottish Rite Mason. He was a Life Member of the NRA and a member of the First Baptist Church of Randolph. He is survived by wife, Frances Langford of Randolph; son, David Langford of Paris; grandchildren, Breanna and Zachary Langford of Paris; brother, Jerry Langford and wife Terri of Randolph; former wife and special friend, Dianne Coston and husband Leon of Randolph; cousin, (Little Sister) Joquita McLaney of Denison; cousin, Nelda Hamilton; aunt, Gloria Carbaugh of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jon Michael Langford; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Randolph Lindsey Cemtery, Randolph, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Brackett. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
