Lance Dobbins, age 44, of Plano, Texas, passed away December 7, 2006 at his home. He was born June 13, 1962 in Torrance, California to Terry and Amber (Unruh) Dobbins. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas and was the owner of Dobbins Designs in Plano, Texas. He was very active in the Stonebriar Community Church where he was an usher. He is survived by his mother Amber Unruh of Plano, Texas; father Terry Dobbins and his wife Maureen of Plano, Texas; brother Mike Dobbins and his wife Tracy of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister Michelle Jackson & her husband Robert of McKinney, Texas; grandparents Charles and Alma Unruh of Plano, Texas; step-sister Debbie Wallace and her husband Jeff; step-brother Mark McLendon; uncle Ted Unruh and his children Alex and Austin; aunt Susan Shell and her children Sally Sue and Ted Shell; nieces and nephews Kalynn, Alyssa, Stephanie, Jordan, Brooke, Blake, Brad, Hayden, Jake, Will, Lauren, Renee and Jill; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents Theron and Virginia Dobbins. A private graveside services was held at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Mr. Dobbins will lie in state at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home on Friday. A memorial service will be held, Monday, December 11, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Stonebriar Community Church with Pastor Steve Farrar officiating.
