Krysten Paige Snelgrove, age 33, of Plano, Texas passed away January 28, 2009. She was born March 5, 1975 in Columbus, Mississippi. On July 28, 2002, Paige married the love of her life, Malcolm Scott Snelgrove, in Dallas, Texas. Paige is survived by her husband, Malcolm Scott Snelgrove; son, Cayden Scott Snelgrove (5 years old); mother, Karen Thornton and her husband, Bruce; father, Homer Awtrey and his wife, Joyce; brothers, Matt Thornton, Josh Awtrey, and Chris Awtrey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Malcolm and Nelda Snelgrove; brother-in-law, Baron Eugene Snelgrove and numerous relatives. Paige was a 1998 graduate of the University of North Texas, who double-majored in Speech Language Pathology and Psychology. She was employed as an Office Manager for Vaught Studio in Flower Mound. Prior to Vaught Studio, Paige worked for RBMM, a division of The Richards Group, for over 10 years. Paige was a member of The Harvest Church in Allen where she was heavily involved in youth ministry. Paige was a kind and nurturing person who was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. No one knows this more than Paige's son, who was her whole world. Paige was an amazing mother that savored every second with her son. Her laugh, smile, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will also receive friends for visitation on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
