Mr. Kevin Michael Padden, age 40, of Frisco, Texas passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2007, in Plano, Texas. He was born September 21, 1966, in Rochester, New York to Brian Patrick and Marilyn Anne (McLaughlin) Padden. Kevin was a 1984 graduate of Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas and later attended Richland College and U.T. Arlington. He was employed as a regional sales director by AMX in Richardson. Watching his son play sports and riding his Harley were his two biggest passions. He enjoyed playing golf as well. Kevin and his family gave hope for the lives of others by donating his organs and tissue. He is survived by his son, Kyle Padden and Kyle’s mother, Elyse Grant Padden of Frisco, Texas; fiancée, Lisa Howdeshell also of Frisco; parents, Brian and Marilyn Padden, of Murphy, Texas; brothers, Greg Padden and wife, Gloria of Garland, Texas and Chris Padden of Austin, Texas; 2 nephews and 1 niece; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney. The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in McKinney. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial at Jones Cemetery near Utopia, Texas. The family and friends of Kevin's only child, Mr. Kyle Padden (17 years old), have established a custodial fund to help support Kyle's future and educational needs.
