Kenny Don Pettit, age 45, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on October 19, 2011. He was born July 12, 1966, in Sherman, Texas, to Weldon and Cleo (Black) Pettit. On December 31, 2003, Kenny married Kelly (Bryant) Pettit in Rockwall, Texas. He loved motorcycles (Harley Davidson in particular) and fishing, as well. Kenny loved his daughter, Scout, very much. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Pettit of Forney, Texas; daughters, Scout Pettit of Forney, Texas and Emily Steward of Denison, Texas; brothers, Randy Pettit and wife Mary Jane of Denison, Texas, Lanny Pettit and wife Teresa of Denison, Texas; sister, Cindy Knight and husband Greg of Sherman, Texas; mother, Cleo Black of Denison, Texas; nieces, Tina Hoover of Denison, Texas and Halley Knight of Sherman, Texas; nephew, Jason Pettit of Denison, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends. Kenny is preceded in death by his father, Weldon Pettit. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening, October 23, 2011, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Allen, Texas.
