Kenneth Douglas Thompson, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away on July 19, 2013 at the age of 61. He was born February 19, 1952, in McKinney, Texas, to Kenneth and Maxine (LaFon) Thompson. On October 19, 1995, Kenneth married Regina Whitworth in Durant, Oklahoma. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Thompson of Little Elm, Texas; sons, Bryan Douglas Thompson of Whitewright, Texas and Thomas Jason “T.J.” Thompson of Trenton, Texas; grandchildren, Levi Thompson, Landon Thompson, Logan Thompson and Layla Thompson; brother, Jon Mark Thompson and wife Yolanda of McKinney, Texas; sister, Susan Peabody of McKinney, Texas; mother, Maxine Thompson of McKinney, Texas; and other loving family and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Thompson and brother, Keith Alan Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Waddill Street Baptist Church located at 1401 N.Waddill Street, McKinney,TX.
