Kenneth Paul Henderson

Kenneth Paul Henderson of Highland Village, Texas passed away April 15, 2013 at his home at the age of 70. He was born August 8, 1942 to the late James Conner and Jennie Lou (Ford) Henderson in Avinger, Texas. Kenneth graduated from Longview High School in 1960. He earned a degree in finance at North Texas State University at Denton where he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. Upon graduation in 1963, he became a bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Ohio and later in Texas. Kenneth went on to become the owner and president of several banks in the Houston area.  After retiring from his banking career, he moved to Dallas where he worked as CFO of Progressive Packaging Company, Inc. He has found his final rest in the loving arms of his savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.  

He is survived by his wife Mary E. Henderson of Highland Village, Texas; daughter, Heidi Elizabeth Henderson of Houston, Texas; sons, James Chance Henderson and wife Brittany of Frisco, Texas, and Kenneth Chance (K.C.) Henderson of Addison, Texas; grandson, James Lukas Henderson; granddaughter, Cassidy Anne Henderson of Frisco, Texas; brother, James L. Henderson and wife Debra of Tyler, Texas. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Landon Brick Henderson.  

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with the Rev. Clay Lein officiating. Entombment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
