Kenneth “Ken” Moehring, age 50, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 3, 2015. Ken was born November 10, 1964, in Burlington, North Carolina, to Paul Allen and Miriam (Ball) Moehring. He graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1983 and later received his associate degree from the University of Texas in Dallas where he was also employed for a few years. Ken married Jaclyn Maio on September 3, 1994 in Plano and she preceded him in death in 2014. He considered himself an amateur gourmet chef and thoroughly enjoyed day trading and being around fast cars. Ken loved his cats and his dog.
He is survived by his brother, John Moehring and wife, Heather of College Station, Texas; sister, Janice Eilers and husband, David of Plano, Texas; father, Paul Moehring of Richardson, Texas; nephew, Steven Moehring of College Station; and niece, Amanda Moehring, also of College Station.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Miriam Moehring and brother, Gary Moehring.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
