Keith "Searc" Searcy

Keith “Searc” Searcy, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2013 at the age of 53. He was born on August 18, 1959, in Waco, Texas, to Graham and Patsy (Cook) Searcy. On February 14, 1992, Searc married Sandra Gail Parks in Anna, Texas. He was a machinist at Turnamatic in Richardson, Texas. He loved playing his fiddle, and was a member of the James Brandon and the Custom Fitt Band; Searc once opened for the Charlie Daniels Band. He attended Culleoka Baptist Church and was of the Methodist faith. 

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Parks Searcy of Princeton; children, Jessica Elaine Searcy of Red Oak, Texas, Kimberly DeAnn Williams and husband Brandon of Princeton, Danny Keith Veal and wife Alison of Princeton, Jesse Ray Nicks and wife Rachel of Melissa, Texas, Robert Franklin Nicks and Jerica Wilson of Princeton; grandchildren, Alyssa, Shay, Brittney, Colton, Courtney, Kayleigh, Emily and Beckett; mother, Patsy Seay; sisters, Donna Bates and husband Jim, Susan McGrath and husband Pat all of McGregor, Texas; and best friend, Larry Otts of McKinney, Texas.

Searc is preceded in death by his father, Graham Searcy and brother, Bill Searcy.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
