Kay Ballew, age 51, of Plano, Texas passed away January 13, 2008 at her home. She was born August 6, 1956, in McKinney, Texas, the daughter of Jack Talmedge and Imogene (Brown) Ballew. She graduated in 1974 from North Mesquite High School. Kay worked twenty years in fine jewelry for Sanger Harris Department Store (formerly Foley, and now Macey’s). She is survived by her son, Philip Greenwood of Allen; daughters, Katrina Petersen and Laura Teegarden both of Plano; grandchildren, Cameron, Brandon, Dillon, and Micah; sister, Ann Melton of Allen; and father, Jack Ballew. Preceding her in death were her mother; and sister Janis Ballew. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Friday, January 18, 2008 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, one hour before the service.
