Kathy Faye McDearmon, age 53, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 24, 2011 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on May 19, 1958, in McKinney, Texas, to Coleman and Lorene (Martin) Curry. Kathy loved gardening and cooking; but most of all she loved her family, friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Michael McDearmon of Allen, Texas, Preston McDearmon and wife Blanca of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Trevor McDearmon, Tara McDearmon, Laci McDearmon, and Avery McDearmon; sister, Gayle Buchanan of Denison, Texas; and, mother-in-law, Doris McDearmon. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Barbara Burnside. A remembrance gathering will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at 4:00 pm, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, in Allen, Texas.
