Funeral Services for Kathryn Marie Blackwell Woodruff, 86 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday February 21, 2012 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Brother Bobby Sparks will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Goldring, Jerry and Mickey Surratt, Adam and Austin Woodruff and Jason Dever. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Goldring, Arvis Buchanan, Eugene Kegans, Todd Carpenter, Gary Woodruff and Eddie Sudderth. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery at Trenton, Texas. Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday February 20, 2012 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mrs. Woodruff was born May 28, 1925 near Leonard, Texas. Her parents were Shelby Floyd and Oma Exel Hall Blackwell. She married R.T. Woodruff November 13, 1942. He preceded her in death May 14, 2008. She was a member of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and worked for many years as a nurse. She passed away at her residence Friday February 17, 2012. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jerry Lynn “Jack” and Valerie Woodruff of Greenville; her granddaughter and husband: Amber and Jason Dever of Greenville; her grandsons: Adam and Austin Woodruff of Greenville. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons: Ronnie, Stephen and Billy Woodruff.
