Mrs. Kathleen (Meachum) Philips of N. Richland Hills, Texas passed away September 4, 2005 in North Richland Hills. She was born November 1, 1910 in Longworth, Texas to George and Dema (Latta) Meachum. She married Glen Philips November 20, 1940 in Celina, Texas and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Philips received her teaching degree from North Texas in Denton and taught 35 years in Alla Hubbard, Celina, and Pottsboro School Systems. Mrs. Philips is survived by daughters and spouses; Peggy and Dan Currie of N. Richland Hills, Texas and Glenda and David Laney of Spring, Texas; Granddaughters, Julie Huddleston Molder and husband Scott Molder of Bedford, Texas and Christine Laney Adkins and Jon Adkins of Brentwood, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Aaron Molder, Meredith Molder and Laney Adkins; sister, Maurine McWilliams of Weatherford and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends She was preceded in death by husband, Glen Philips, grandson, Darrell Huddleston. Donations may be made to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina relief or the American Heart Associations. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina, Texas. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina,Texas. Visitation will be from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Celina.
