Kathleen Lyn George, of Allen, Texas, entered the presence of our Lord on April 6, 2016 at the age of 74. She was born February 14, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri to Cornelius and Evangeline (Wahler) O’Leary. On July 9, 1977, Kathleen married David George in Farmersville, Texas. Born and raised in St. Louis, she was a long time member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in St. Charles, MO. She and David moved to Allen about a year ago, where both are members of St. Jude Catholic Church. They resided at Parkview in Allen.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David George of Allen, Texas; dearest children, Timothy Bray and wife Michelle of Allen, Texas, Terence Bray and wife Celeste of St. Charles, Missouri and Erin Beckemeier and husband Greg of St. Charles, Missouri; and fifteen grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, Keegan, Magdeline, Celeste, Druw, Anna, Ainsley, Mary Kathleen, Skylar, Conway, Addison, Karsten, Mary Grace, and Frances.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Evangeline O’Leary and brother, Robert Dennis O’Leary.
Kathi is a devoted wife, beloved mother, dear grandmother, loyal sister, aunt and cousin, true friend and devout servant of the Lord.
Kathi is an avid Allen Eagles football fan and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She loved watching her grandchildren in everything they did.
For friends and family in St. Louis, there will be a visitation and funeral mass on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in St. Charles, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 10-11am and the mass will begin at 11. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall. 2 Seton Court, St. Charles, Missouri 63303.
