Karin Featherston, age 51 of McKinney, Texas passed away January 8, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She was born January 7, 1964 in Dallas, Texas to Arthur Clifton and Sally Glendean (Plott) Featherston. Karin was a long time employee of Advance Answering Solutions in McKinney, Texas.
Karin was a sweet soul who loved everyone she met. She had an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the room. She was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, more specifically, Troy Aikman; she loved Days of Our Lives. Karin was a fighter who overcame a number of health problems and received a heart transplant in 2007.
She is survived by her parents, Sally and John Campbell of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Lebron Featherston and wife Patricia of Dupont, Washington and John Eric Campbell and wife Alicia of Denver, Colorado.
Karin was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Clifton Featherston; grandmother, Betty Grinnell; uncle, Tory Plott; aunt, Karen Plott.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow at Altoga Cemetery in Altoga, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
