Julia Mae Pittman, age 82, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 19, 2017. Julia was born September 23, 1934, in Lost Corner, Arkansas, to Earl and Edna (Pack) Harrison. She was a homemaker and also worked as a teacher’s aide in Yukon, Oklahoma. Julia was a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her son, Clark Pittman and wife, Dina of Aubrey, Texas; daughter, Janine Solomon and husband, Randy of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Kyle Douglas Pittman and wife, Madeline Taylor of Saginaw, Texas, Haley Elizabeth Pittman of Aubrey, Texas, and Madeline Mae Goettsch of Allen, Texas; sister, Louise McLeod and husband Bill of Crossett, Arkansas; and brothers, William Harrison and wife, Bobbye Ann of Suwanee, Georgia, Johnny Harrison and wife, Gabriel of Savoy, Texas, Barbara Richardson of Rhome, Texas, Paul Harrison of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Paulette Caudle and husband, Olen of Pottsville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ernest Julian Pittman, and sister, Emma Lee Goggans.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2017, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
