Services for Judith Gale (Durham) Wolfe, 66, who passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2011, will be held Friday, July 22, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Whitewright. The Reverend Van Lazaroff will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright immediately following the service. Judy was born in Sherman, Texas to Louis H. and Thelma Jo Durham, on August 19, 1944. She was a graduate of Whitewright High School. On February 21, 1964, she married Joe Wolfe in the First United Methodist Church of Whitewright and they made their home and raised their family in Whitewright. She was a homemaker, an excellent cook, an avid reader, and a very intellectual conversationalist. She is survived by her mother, Thelma Jo Durham of Whitewright; brother, Bobby Durham and wife, Linda, of Whitewright; son, Jerad Baker, of Whitewright; daughters, Susan Taraba and husband, Tim, of Whitewright, and Jennifer Spencer, of Colorado City, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jaimie and Brady Taraba and Bailey, Katy, and Calvin Spencer. She is also survived by sister-in-laws, Helen Wolfe and Joyce Wolfe of Whitewright, Ann Wolfe of Temple, Texas, and Alice Burnaman of Houston, Texas; and nieces, Kathy Wolfe, Karen Tankersley, Gena Offill, Denise Selman, and Donna Pittman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wolfe; father, Louis H. Durham; and a brother, E.J. Durham. Pallbearers will be Jerad Baker, Bailey Spencer, Calvin Spencer, Brady Taraba, Matt Parker, and Scott Greenley. Honorary pallbearers are James Griffin and Jimmy Childers.
