Ms. Judy Kay Summers, age 54, of Melissa, Texas passed away April 8, 2009, in McKinney, Texas. She was born on October 23, 1954, in Clarksville, Texas to Gus Francis and Bernice (Tuggle) Dawson. Ms. Summers was a customer service representative and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Blacketer and her husband, Allen of Aubrey, Texas and Nina Summers of Melissa, Texas; sisters, Patsy Woolley and husband, Chuck of Paris, Texas and Bobbie Jean French of Plano, Texas; brothers, James Dawson and his wife, Dorothy of Neegley, Texas and Jim Dawson and his wife, Gale of Toco, Texas; grandchildren, Kaylei Jo Blacketer and Will Blacketer; and many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus Dawson and Bernice West; brother, Billy Glen Dawson; and sisters, Janie Lou Jordan and Glenda Sue Lawney. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Judi Brandt officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
