Judith Lynne Tigert, age 63, of Richardson, Texas, passed away June 10, 2007 in Richardson. She was born June 10, 1944, in Denton, Texas, to Alman Glen and Dorothy Jewel (Nix) Lanford. On July 28, 1962, she married Jerry Boyd Tigert in Richardson, Texas. Mrs. Tigert, a homemaker, was active in the American Postal Workers Union Private Sector and was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; sons, Steve and his wife Tammy of Allen, Jeff and his wife Tricia of Wylie; daughter, Leslie Lynne of Richardson; grandchildren, Bradley Reese and Brittany Rae Tigert; aunt, Juanita Nix of Dallas; and several other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother Glen Wesley “Rusty” Lanford. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at 10:00 AM, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
