Judith Virginia Bonavita, age 79 of The Colony, Texas passed away on February 12, 2011 in Plano, Texas. She was born on January 23, 1932 in Rome, New York to Rocco and Carmella (Gaetano) Falitico. Judith married Thomas Anthony Bonavita on September 29, 1951 in Rome, New York. She was an Accountant and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Agens and her husband, Harry of The Colony, Texas; grandchildren, Peter Vaccaro and wife, Jamie of Arlington, Texas, Thomas Bonavita III and wife, Jessica of Charleston, South Carolina, Jonathan Bonavita, Asha Bonavita, Theresa Bonavita all of Middleville, New York, Luke Agens and wife, Kelly of Denton, Texas, Lucy Agens of Carrollton, Texas, Nicol Tarvin and husband, Aaron of San Diego, California; great-grandchildren, Shannon Agens of Denton, Texas, Anthony Kroger of San Antonio, Texas, Alysia Kroger of Bedford, Texas, Sarah Agens, United States Navy, Charlee Bonavita of Charleston, South Carolina; brothers, John Falitico of Huntington Beach, California, Rocco Falitico and his wife, Monica of Rome, New York; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Judith is preceded in death by her parents; husband and her son, Thomas Anthony Bonavita, Jr. A Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony with Father Michael Holmberg presiding. The family have requested that donations may be made in Judith's memory to The American Heart Association.
