Juanita Bridgefarmer Simmons age 89, of McKinney, Texas passed away on March 17, 2009. She was born on September 16, 1919 in McKinney, Texas to John Clarence and Dixie (Barnes) Bridgefarmer. She married Robert R. Simmons in McKinney, Texas. She was a life time member of the First Christian Church of McKinney. Juanita and her sister operated City Cleaners for over 45 years until her retirement. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm, her humor and most of all her love. She is survived by her son, Richard Simmons and wife Pam of Fairview, Texas; daughter, Nancy Simmons of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Matt Simmons and wife Wendy of McKinney, Texas and Betsy Riesch and husband Pat of Mineola, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Hannah and Emme Simmons of McKinney, Texas and Karsyn Riesch of Mineola, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters including her beloved sister, Bessie B. Bridgefarmer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2009 in the Chapel at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, with Dr. Neill Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
