Juan Jesus "J.J." Singleterry, age 47, of Blue Ridge, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2015. He was born March 30, 1968 in McKinney, Texas to Raul and Jenara (Garcia) Singleterry. J.J. was well known by everyone in the area. His love for music would have him singing every day, he loved to fish and make people laugh. All those that knew him always felt loved by him, and always knew how much he cared. He had a natural talent with musical instruments. He could draw beautiful things, he was a wonderful artist. But most of all he was a wonderful man.
He is survived by his mother, Jenara G. Singleterry of Blue Ridge, Texas; children, Jessica Singleterry of Randolph, Texas, Maricella Singleterry of McKinney, Texas, Jasmine Singleterry also of McKinney, Texas, Alexis Singleterry of Princeton, Texas and Juan Singleterry of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Jaedyn, Cleo, Jacob, Aria and Nathaniel; sisters, Olympia Singleterry of Blue Ridge, Texas, Maryann Martinez and husband Domingo of Princeton, Texas, Rosa Jeffrey of McKinney, Texas and Lana Singleterry of McKinney, Texas; many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
J.J. is preceded in death by his father, Raul Singleterry.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Holy Family Episcopal Church, 406 Lincoln Street, in McKinney, Texas.
