Olive Joyce Camp Rue age 49, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on January 23, 2009. She was born on February 6, 1959 in Muleshoe, Texas to Bernis and Anne (MacFarland) Camp. She grew up in Muleshoe and moved to McKinney in 1989. She received her degree as a registered nurse from Eastern New Mexico State and a bachelor degree in hospital administration from University of Texas at Arlington. She worked at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco and previously for Medical Center of McKinney. On August 8, 2008 she married Richard Rue in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McKinney. Joyce enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Richard Rue of McKinney, Texas; children, Miri Morris of Amarillo, Texas, Ricky and Laurie Morris of Montgomery, Texas, Katherine and Zach Wieser of Lovington, New Mexico, Mandy and Troy Sheafer, Amy Rue, Michael and Lindsay Rue, all of McKinney, Texas; eight grandchildren; siblings, Bob and Carolyn Camp of Indianna, Pennsylvania, Susan and Tom Fogarty of Richardson, Texas, Carol and Dave Stimson of Plano, Texas and Patte Camp of McKinney, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernis and Anne Camp and her sister Becky Keith. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2009 at First Baptist Church of McKinney, with Rev. Jerry Byrd and Rev. Sean Ferry officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Friday to pay their respects and to sign a register book. The family will receive friends and family beginning at 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
