Joyce Roach, age 86, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on June 22, 2017. She was born December 8, 1930 in Wolfe City, Texas, to B.T. and Carrie (Noyes) Hartley. On March 4, 1950, Joyce married Billy Ray Roach in Durant, Oklahoma. She worked as a secretary to the personnel director, for McKinney Job Corps, where she retired after 25 years of employment. Joyce was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Donna Roach Fawcett and husband Ed of McKinney, Texas, Kenny Lynn Roach and wife B.R. of Denison, Texas; granddaughter, Joy Fawcett of McKinney, Texas; sister, Janette Odle of Greenville, Texas; many other loving relatives and friends.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, B.T. and Carrie Hartley; as well as husband, Billy Ray Roach.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 26, 2017 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
