IN LOVING MEMORY

Joseph Henley Osborn

Nov 24 1977 - Oct 05 2015

Joseph Henley Osborn of Anna, Texas passed away on October 5, 2015 at the age of 37. He was born on November 24, 1977, to Joseph and Lesley Osborn in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Joe was an infrastructure manager with At Home, LLC where he worked his IT magic and made all the things that were supposed to work, work. His work family was a huge part of his life and he enjoyed giving most of them a hard time regarding project timelines, efficiencies and meetings that would have been best served as an email. Joe was extremely thankful for the support of his work family during the past few weeks. His bosses, Don Beagle and Gary McClure were very dear to his heart and he enjoyed giving them as hard of a time as everyone else.

Joe believed in experiences over things, actions over words and living life as large as he could in the short time he had. He was a damn good skydiver, father, pilot, love, class act, gentleman and dear friend. Joe rarely met a stranger and was always quick to make others laugh with his inappropriate, yet hilariously funny jokes. He was the smartest man in the room and also the one with the biggest heart. He was the kind of man who made you want to become a better person, and as so many have shared, was often a better friend to you than you were to him. Joe was always quick to offer a kind word, big hug or a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his son Blake more than life itself and his favorite way to spend a Saturday was skydiving with his many friends and squeezing in as many jumps as possible. Joe loved to travel, take lazy Sunday afternoon naps and had music pumping loudly in his soul. His smile would truly light up a room.

Joe is survived by his son, Blake Osborn of Anna, Texas; his fiancée, Michelle Lynch of Anna, Texas and her children, Samy and Smith, and dog Toto; his mother, Lesley Osborn; grandmother, Joyce Rosen; brother, Harris Osborn all of Florida; his dear friends, Jim and Erika Ploehn and their dog, Chip, John and Sandra Frost and their son, Cameron, Dave and Elizabeth Ryder, Clay and Jill Jackson-Sears and their children Charlotte, Victoria and Rhett, Andrew Ferris and Holly Engle, Lacey Porter and her dog Daisy, April and Shawn Phillips; and many many more who were equally dear to him, but simply too many to mention.

His family and friends are celebrating his life with a visitation on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Please bring your sense of humor, memories, tears and hugs because as you all know, Joe loved a good party.
