Joseph Patrick Dugan, Sr.

Joseph Patrick Dugan, Sr., age 86, of Dallas, Texas, passed away December 10, 2014.  Joseph was born August 17, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, to James Patrick Dugan and Bridget (Finn) Dugan.  On May 1, 1953, Joseph married Lucille Tomlinson in San Antonio, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict, where he was a B-29 Flight Engineer. Joseph graduated from Texas A&M University in 1958. He spent over thirty years working for the U.S. Small Business Administration and retired as Assistant District Director of Finance and Investments at the Dallas regional office. Joseph was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Tomlinson Dugan of Dallas, Texas; son, Joseph P. Dugan, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Kathy Eddy and husband Doug of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Eddy, Rebecca Thomas and husband Justin, and Brian Eddy.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
