Jol Jason Reese, age 55, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 20, 2011. He was born May 28, 1956 in El Paso, Texas to Billy Edward Reese and Mary Alice (McNicol) Reese. He received his associate degree in Art from Arizona State University. Jol was the owner of The Jewelry Fix on the square in McKinney. He was a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Jol loved discussing politics and was devoted to the people and businesses on the square in McKinney. He is survived by sister, Kelly Northup and husband, Mike of Lubbock, Texas; mother, Mary Alice McNicol of Tyler, Texas; niece, Kayleigh Painter & husband, Jonathan and their children, Oakley Painter and Cadence Painter; nieces, Mackensie Northup, Reese Northup, Jensen Northup; nephew, Garrison Northup; very good friends, Fred, Kathy, Ali, Olivia, Grace, Jackson and Daniel Hebert and his beloved dog, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Edward Reese; brothers, Bryon Barton Reese and Kurtis Kyle Reese. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Mike Northup officiating.
